Built in the early 17th Century and visited by many famous people, including Bonnie Prince Charlie in 1745, Robbie Burns and Sir Walter Scott in 1813. We have retained many traditional features including cosy log fires (during winter months) and have succumbed to central heating, constant hot water, breakfast in bed and many more modern comforts that we enjoy so much.
