Picturesque Killin (hostel recently renovated) has the Falls of Dochart, beautiful in fine weather and impressive when in spate. There are standing stones from the Bronze Age, as well as the Healing Stones of St. Fillan and the grave of the Celtic hero, Fingal. Finlarig Castle has a beheading pit and hanging tree. The area provides good walks with views of Ben Lawers and Loch Tay, and a wide range of wildlife. Excellent areas for hillwalkers - over 21 'big ones' nearby.
