There's good walking on the North side of the loch. Windsurfing equipment, boats, fishing tackle and mountain bikes can all be hired at the Great Glen Water Park. Ruined Invergarry Castle lies nearby (2 1/2 miles). Enthusiasts can join the Great Glen Cycle Route. Also nearby - Well of the Seven Heads, the site of the "Battle of the Shirts" and Commando War Memorial, Spean Bridge.
