Don't go without cruising the Loch, either from Drumnadrochit or by hiring a boat at Fort Augustus. Watch out for Nessie - or play safe and visit the Monster Centre. Other sights worth seeing are Urquhart Castle and Fort Augustus Abbey. Drumnadrochit Highland Games are in August. Mountain bikes are best on the Great Glen Cycle Track from Fort Augustus to Invermoriston via the hostel and on to Drumnadrochit.
