The Isle of Arran has everything for holidays - including safe sea bathing and excellent hill/ridge walking. Goat Fell, 2,868 ft, is a good climb. Lochranza has its own 14th century castle. The island is a classic geological location, a haven for artists and craftspeople, great for fishing, watersports and cycling. Deer, seals and eagles are just some of the native wildlife.
