The oldest playing golf course in the world, with golf being played here as far back as 1672. Even before that, Mary, Queen of Scots, is said to have played here in 1567. The first ever Women's Golf Competition was played at Musselburgh Links in 1811. Home to a number of prestigious golf clubs over the years.
