After a long working life, this grade-A listed watermill has become a cultural visitor centre, housing the largest bookshop in rural Scotland, and an art gallery with original works and limited edition prints. The wheel is still in use, although it now drives a micro-hydroelectric power plant, and much of the industrial machinery and artefacts have been retained as part of the cultural experience.
