Built by Lord MacDonald in 1815, the neo-gothic castle is today a sculptured ruin and focal point for the Here, sheltered by 200 year old trees, many exotic plants shrubs and flowers flourish.

The award-winning museum, with many fascinating displayed in six interconnecting galleries, takes you through 1,500 years of the history and culture of the area known as the Kingdom of the Isles.

Gift shop, restaurant, library and study centre, woodland walks and nature trails.

Disabled Access
All facilities are on the ground floor are fully accessible. Most of the garden is also accessible. Two four-wheel electric wheelchairs are available. Disabled toilet.
