Covering 735 acres, Dundee's largest public park owes its name and fame to the victory of Admiral Adam Duncan over the Dutch fleet in 1797 at the Battle of Camperdown, off the Dutch coast. The park which is home to no fewer than 190 species of trees, was opened to the public in 1949.
The Sensory garden was designed to stimulate visitors with particular attention to the sight, smell and feel of the plants.
Something for all the family every day with Special events throughout the year: Easter Fun Day, Spring Garden Show, Creepy Crawly Week, The Dundee Flower and Food Festival, Golf Tournaments, Meet Santa.
