Camperdown Wildlife Centre

Home > Camperdown Wildlife Centre

Come and see the European brown bears - Comet and Star - which are an extremely rare and endangered species from the wilderness of Russia. So rare in fact, that they were born in captivity.

Cuddly family favourites, the guinea pigs, scurrying around their large enclosure.

Other highlights include the elegant Lynx, the wolves and other more unusual species, such as the pine marten - one of Britain's rarest mammals.
