Hercules garden is the largest walled garden under cultivation in Scotland. Dating from the 1740s, it has recently been restored to its original layout and content.

A lifesized statue of Hercules stands above the garden from where there is a spectacular view out over the sloping ground and interlocking ponds. Other features include statues, urns, a Chinese bidge and a folly as well as productive fruit trees, vegetable beds and herbacious borders.
