Stir the imagination, visit our award winning museum, situated in Scotland's highest village. Pupils can explore 350 years of Scotland's Lead and Gold Mining history.
The Museum includes: Visitor centre with "hands-on" exhibits, guided tours of a real lead mine and period cottages, and the second oldest library in Scotland. Interact with multi-media touch screen presentation and see history come to life.
Try your hand at gold panning - demonstrations can be arranged. Educational visits are tailored to the requirements of the National Curriculum.
