Scotland's leading marine conservation experience - the Scottish Sea Life Sanctuary is set on the shores of Loch Creran displaying a huge variety of native marine life in over 40 separate displays. Hourly interactive talks and feeding demonstrations allow you to handle shoreline creatures or even feed the sharks.
The new national Seahorse Breeding and Conservation Centre hopes to successfully breed and rear four species of seahorse. The laboratory-style facility also cultivates adult brine shrimp, one of the many micro-organisms that seahorses feed on.
