Housed in a splendid country house set in beautiful wooded grounds, the National Costume Museum presents a fascinating look at fashion and social etiquette from the 1850s to the 1950s. Wonderful room settings with accessories, furniture and paintings complete a graceful Victorian and Edwardian environment of well-to-do living. From parasols to party dresses, linen to lavender bags and samplers to shoes. Open the door on fashion and society through the ages.
