The IMAX Theatre, part of the Glasgow Science Centre is the first in Scotland and one of only eight in Britain. The 80ft high screen and a 12,000 watt sound system presents films in a way impossible in a conventional cinema.

By Bus: First Bus 89/90, Arriva 24. (Pacific Drive). By Road: From the M8 (east or west bound) take junction 24 and follow brown signs. From the M77 stay in the left hand lane (marked A8 Tradeston /Kinning Park) as the motor way merges with the M8. Take the next exit (junction 21 ) and follow brown signs. Ample parking.
Train: Exhibition Centre Station. Covered walkway from station to SECC . Access to GSC is via either the Millennium Bridge or Bell's Bridge. (5 - 1 0 mins.)
Subway : Cessnock. Exit station and turn left. Follow brown pedestrian signs. ( 10 mins.)
