Eating Out in Aberdeen

Home > Where to Go > Regions > Aberdeen & Grampian Highlands > Aberdeen > Eating Out

Aberdeen is a well-off city with many business-orientated hotels. This is reflected in a good range of sophisticated restaurants.

Good seafood is just one speciality, as is the local Aberdeen Angus beef. Central areas of the city, notably around Golden Square and also Belmont Street, are where to find the widest range of eating places, from simple pub food to upmarket menus.

The Beach Boulevard area has a good choice of restaurants as well as a few traditional seaside cafes. In addition, some Aberdeen hotels are popular dining places, much patronised by locals at weekends.
