Glasgow
Go on a guided walking tour of the city, take a powerboat ride on the Clyde, work out or swim at a choice of city leisure centres, try tenpin bowling or golf within the city boundaries – lots to do, close at hand.

Golf
Glasgow itself has many good courses, while it is an excellent base even if you are playing as far afield as Ayrshire.

Cycling
Glasgow is well-served from a cycling point of view with signposted routes both on the national cycle network and other traffic-free routes, enabling the visitor to link up with countryside around the city.

Walking
To the west, the Clyde Muirshiel Park has many good trails. The West Highland Way starts at Milngavie on the northern outskirts of the city, and the Trossachs and Ben Lomond are no distance away.
