With three courses in Skye and Lochalsh there’s no need to keep your clubs at home.
Visitors will receive a warm welcome on Skye’s two courses. Sconser, in a lovely setting, is the most challenging. Skeabost is a hotel course, little more than pitch and putt but quite good fun especially the holes by the water.
Either on your way to or from the Isle of Skye, you should stop in at Lochalsh Golf Club, again, a minor holiday course but ideal entertainment for a family or group of friends looking for a casual game. It measures a mere 966 yards with eight of its 9 holes tricky par 3’s. The views of Skye and the new bridge add to this zesty little contest.
