Chapel of St Fergus Stones (HS)

Two finely carved Pictish stones are set into the east gable of the old kirk. One has a large beast and symbols, the other has a cross flanked by symbols. Signposted off A947 one mile north of Dyce.

One of Scotland's largest seabird colonies, the cliffs of Fowlsheugh are packed with guillemots, razorbills, and kittiwakes between April and July. Evening boat trips from Stonehaven.
