Argaty Red Kites
Scotland's only red kite feeding station, with up to 30 birds to be seen. Watch the kites' flying acrobatics from a special hide. Also a choice of guided walks.

Flanders Moss National Nature Reserve (SWT)
Part of the largest raised bog in Britain. Special plants include cranberry and bog rosemary. Roe deer and adders are common. Unusual colony of blue hares. Best viewed from A873 10 miles west of Stirling.

Inversnaid (RSPB)
This oak woodland rises steeply from the eastern shore of Loch Lomond with open moorland above. In summer, pied flycatchers and redstarts breed here. Nature trail.
