A mixture of moorland and cliffs, some over 300m high. Great skuas breed on the moor along with red grouse, dunlins and golden plovers. The spectacular cliffs have large numbers of guillemots, razorbills and kittiwakes.

Many thousands of guillemots, razorbills, kittiwakes and fulmars breed on these great cliffs. There are spectacular cliff top displays of sea campion, thrift and spring squill.

This wetland reserve has eight species of breeding duck, including pintails and pochard, plus waders and water rails. In winter whooper swans and greylag geese graze in the fields around the reserve. Observation hide.

This spectacular 1.5 mile (2.4 km) stretch of cliffs have one of Britain's largest seabird colonies, with many thousands of guillemots, kittiwakes, along with razorbills, fulmars and puffins.
