This beautiful cathedral was built between 1250 and 1500. While the nave was un-roofed after the Reformation, the choir has continued in use as a church. An early Christian site, Dunkeld was sacked by the Vikings in the 9th century.

Loch Leven National Nature Reserve
This large loch has the largest concentration of breeding freshwater duck in Britain including mallard, tufted duck, shellduck, wigeon, gadwall and shoveler, plus up to 20,000 pink-footed geese in winter. Various viewpoints including Vane Farm.

Loch of Kinnordy (RSPB)
A reserve of lochs and fens surrounded by farmland this is one of the best places in Scotland to see black-necked grebes. Large colony of black-headed gulls, many species of duck breed here. Three hides give excellent views.
