Though the long ridges of Kintail tempt hillwalkers, not all the walking options are serious and high-level. There are plenty of low-level routes, one of the most spectacular is the path through the bizarre rock formations of the Quiraing.

While the Kintail peaks certainly offer some scrambling at places like The Saddle in Glen Shiel, the Cuillins offer serious challenges for the rock climber. Using local guides will ensure a memorable day amongst the peaks.
