Ruthven
An interesting walk combining the impressive ruins of Ruthven Barracks, open heather moorland with a ﾓget away from it allﾔ feel, the beautiful Glen Tromie and finally a walk through the RSPB reserve overlooking the Insh Marshes.
Terrain - Paths throughout; some of the old right of way between Ruthven and Glen Tromie is a little overgrown or boggy; the rest of the walk is on a tarred private road and well-waymarked trails. Two streams near the start could be hard to cross in wet weather.
