Three Lochs Way 2: Helensburgh to nr Garelochhead

A new long distance route linking Loch Lomond, Gare Loch and Loch Long. This section of the route links Helensburgh at the entrance to Gare Loch with Garelochhead at its northern end. The stage ends on a minor road, and if heading into Garelochhead rather than continuing with the following section of the Way then an additional 5km of roadwalking leads into Garelochhead with its rail station.
Terrain - Very boggy on the initial woodland section, then good tracks, a section of grassy field path and minor roads.
