This delightful Hebridean reserve, with sand dunes, marshes and shallow lochs is a stronghold of the rare corncrake. Many species of wader breed here. Visitor centre and nature trail.

A reserve of striking contrasts from machair grassland on the coast to moorlands interspersed with quiet lochans. Best May - June for breeding wildfowl, waders and corncrakes. Nature trail.
