Close to Edinburgh city centre, this lovely clean sandy beach stretches for 2 miles. Along the seafront there is good selection of cafes, pubs and restaurants plus a sailing club, indoor swimming pool with turkish baths and amusement arcades.

Annual events include the Sailing Regatta, Big Things on the Beach and the Big Beach Busk.
