Montrose Beach
Montrose
A famous beach, with a wide stretch of golden sand, it runs north from Montrose to the mouth of the North Esk River. The southern end of the beach has suffered from erosion and the shoreline is now protected by a barrier of large rocks. Just back from the beach is the Seafront Splash Play Park, a café and picnic area. To reach the beach, follow the signs to South Links and Seafront Splash.
Seaside award. Public Toilets.
