The deliberately slow distillation process together with the special qualities of the spring water yeilds a whisky of the subtlest flavour. Cardow, (previously known as Cardhu) is matured for 12 years in specially selected oak casks, during which time it mellows and develops its smooth, warm and sensuous flavour.
