Edinburgh Zoo

Edinburgh

Set in 82 acres of splendid parkland, close to the city centre, and open 365 days a year, Edinburgh Zoo is home to over 1000 rare and beautiful animals and is one of Europe’s leading zoos in the areas of conservation, animal welfare and education. With an inspiring array of daily events including the world-famous Penguin Parade, keeper talks and animal presentations there’s always something exciting going on! Our fantastic new exhibits such as Rainbow Landings, your opportunity to feed the beautiful lorikeet parrots and our unique chimpanzee experience, Budongo Trail, allow you to get up close and personal with our chimps. Visit animals including the UK’s only koalas, Indian one horned rhinos and Sumatran tigers and enjoy all the facilities we have on offer such as the Hilltop Safari, gift shop, cafes, bar and restaurant.
