Highland and Rare Breeds Farm

This educational farm offers you an opportunity to experience traditional farm animals close at hand and aims to give you an understanding of their place in ancient and modern day husbandry. Meet Hebridean ewes, Soay lambs and other Northern sheep, admire Highland cows, Musvcovy ducks and Scot's Dumpy Hens. Stroke the goats and scratch the pigs. There is a farm walk with over 30 breeds to see, extending over 15 acres, plenty of car space, a theme shop, and pets corner, a riverside ramble and Information Centre. Picnic tables and toilet facilities. Help conserve rare breeds! Fleeces and Handspun wool for sale.

July and August: 10.00am - 5.00pm, seven days per week.
