Buchan Ness Lighthouse
This prominent lighthouse on the point of Buchan Ness was completed in 1827.
Some of its buildings were slightly damaged during the Second World War when a drifting mine washed ashore nearby and exploded. The former lighthouse keepers’ cottages have been converted to self catering accommodation.
