Mull of Galloway Lighthouse
Built on Scotland’s most southerly point with views, on a clear day, of England, Ireland, the Isle of Man and even Wales, this lighthouse was completed in 1830. Some of the adjacent buildings are used to tell the story of the lighthouse while the keepers’ cottages have been converted to self-catering accommodation managed by the National Trust of Scotland. This is one of the few lighthouses in Scotland where the tower is open for guided tours.
easy way to organise your trip to Scotland.
