This well-preserved tower-house was built between the 14th and 17th centuries. It stands on a hill just to the west of the town with superb views out over the Firth of Forth. Once home to the powerful Bruce family, Clackmannan Tower dates back to the fourteenth century. The hilltop on which the tower sits is a wonderful viewpoint.
