Papa Westray
This well preserved farmstead c 2800 BC - 3700 BC was discovered in the 1930s buried under 4 metres of wind-blown sand. The people who lived here reared cattle and sheep, fished and grew wheat and barley.
Opening Times
April to September, daily, 9.30am - 6.30pm. October to March, daily, 9.30am - 4.30pm.
