Knowe of Yarso Chambered Cairn (HS)
Rousay
This long stalled cairn, protected by a modern roof, is divided into three compartments. The bones of 29 people were found here, with skulls carefully arranged beside the wall. Among animal remains were the bones of some 36 deer.

April to September, daily, 9.30am - 6.30pm. October to March, daily, 9.30am - 4.30pm.
