Fort Charlotte (HS)

An artillery fort, it was built in 1665 to protect the Sound of Bressay from the Dutch, but taken by them and burned in 1673. It was rebuilt in 1781.

April to September, daily, 9.30am - 6.30pm. October to March, daily, 9.30am - 4.30pm. Keys available locally.
