Tiumpan Head Lighthouse
This lighthouse to the north of Stornoway was built in 1900. In 1956 the royal family, on holiday on the Royal Yacht Britannia, visited the lighthouse. Prince Charles, then aged 7, sounded the first blast on the new fog horn.
