Eildon Hills 422m (1385ft)
The three peaks of the Eildons are a prominent Borders’ feature. The north peak was one of the largest iron age hill forts in Scotland, possibly once accommodating as many as 6,000 people. It was also used as a Roman signal station. There is a footpath from Melrose.
