Scotland's oldest public museum specialising in Roman archaeology, fossils, rocks and minerals, ethnography and numismatics.The Art Gallery has internationally renowned collections of painting, drawings and prints by Whistler, Chardin, Koninck and Rembrandt. Also includes furniture and drawings by Charles Rennie Mackintosh displayed in the replica Mackintosh House.Stimulating programme of temporary exhibitions. Various cafes, a restaurant and shops.
