Highlanders Museum

Ardersier

Housed in the Lieutenant Governor’s quarters at Fort George – one of Britain’s greatest military buildings – the museum tells the story of three famous Scottish regiments: the Seaforth Highlanders, the Queens Own Cameron Highlanders and the Lovat Scouts.

The museum’s exhibits include sixteen Victoria Crosses and one of the finest displays of military weapons and uniforms in Scotland, many dating back to the 18th Century.
