Dating from 1583, this is the former home of the Lairds of Gala. Displays tell the story of the house and Galashiels. Lively programme of temporary exhibitions.

April - September: Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 4pm. July - August: Monday - Saturday 10am - 4pm, Sunday 2 - 4pm. October: Tuesday - Saturday 1 - 4pm.
