The buildings demonstrate the extensive use of stone in a land with little wood - stone shelves, cattle stalls, roofs of large flagstone covered in turf or heather. Vivid guided tours and demonstrations.

Opening Times

1st Mar – 31st Oct - Mon-Sat, from 10:30-13:00 & 14:00-17:00 (Museum is closed for lunch - 13:00-14:00)
Sun – 12:00-17:00
Museum is closed during the winter months (1st Nov-end Feb)
