Dundee's award winning arts centre, Dundee Contemporary Arts, which opened in March 1999, proved an immediate success with the public attracting over 360,000 visitors in its first year. A Major social and cultural facility to exhibit, support and promote contemporary visual culture of the higest quality while providing state-of-the-art production facilities for creative work. DCA is home to: 2 spacious galleries; 2 cinemas; print studio; University of Dundee Visual Research Centre; One Five Two, arts & crafts shop; Just café bar; information room; activity room; meeting rooms.
