Glenesk Folk Museum
Originally built by a sea captain as a Retreat from the rigours of a sailor’s life, it is now the focal point of glen life and is home to a gift shop, art gallery, licensed restaurant, tearoom, party venue, conference facilities and community room. Our purpose-built Folk Museum is dedicated to the heritage, history and culture of Glenesk and focuses on the life of the rural community.
