The Birks o' Aberfeldy - Falls of Moness

This popular walk in a wooded gorge above Aberfeldy is associated with Scotland’s national poet Robert Burns. He composed his song ‘The Birks o’ Aberfeldy’ after a visit here in 1787. There is a modern statue of the poet, seated, near the car-park half-way up the glen. At the high point of the walk is a bridge over the spectacular Falls of Moness.
