This spectacular reserve rises from the Moffat Valley up to Loch Skene and its corries beyond. White Coombe (821 km) is the highest point. The reserve is the best site in southern Scotland for upland plants, many rare species thrive here. Visitor centre, with CCTV views of a peregrine falcon nest site. Programme of guided walks throughout summer. Footpaths.
