One of the most popular nature reserves in Scotland with a visitor centre, shop, café, and observation room with a view out over the reserve and Loch Leven. Here greylag and pink-footed geese, whooper swans and thousands of dabbling ducks are to be seen in winter. In summer the marshes are a good place for nesting redshanks, snipe and lapwings.

One trail leads to the three hides overlooking the wetlands and loch. A longer, steeper trail takes you up through woodlands to a spectacular view from the top of Vane Hill. Regular programme of events.
