The Cottier features the finest examples of Victorian Gothic Style exemplifying the skills of Architect William Leiper and designer Daniel Cottier.

The conversion from a church took place in the 1990's but the most interesting work to restore this fascinating building has yet to happen, this work is planned to take place over the next three years. This is a live conservation project and the bar and restaurant will stay open throughout.
