This world famous New Year carnival in the Scottish capital is celebrated over three days. Amongst the highlights are, of course, the ticketed mass street party (with its Concert in the Gardens, other live music and a massive midnight fireworks display) on Hogmanay itself, a huge Ceilidh, a candlelit concert in St. Giles Cathedral and the ‘Baby Loves Hogmanay’ family event held December 30 and on Hogmanay itself.
